We introduced a new game today, Rattlesnake Jake. Jake projects the gems, and we used tongs to try and “steal” them away without making him strike! We worked on math skills by counting the gems we gathered, the tongs helped strengthen our fine muscles in out fingers and hands, while also asssiting with hand eye coordination.
Today in Spanish Mrs. C worked on colors! The class is really absorbing the Spanish they’re learning. When they came back I was greeted with many “Holas!” They were also able to tell me all the colors Rattlesnake Jake has, in Spanish: Green- Verde, Yellow- Amarillo, Red- Rojo, White- Blanco, Black- Negro.
