We started our day off by peeling and chopping apples for applesauce! We used an apple peeler then each child used a plastic knife to chop their apple into pieces. We added water, sugar, and cinnamon then cooked it in an Insta-Pot. We have had so much fun baking this week 🙂
We also got to meet with our class buddies again. They helped us begin the first step of our Summative. They traced each child on giant paper and then helped the children to color and decorate their body tracing to look like them! Most of them even matched their outfits, and a few added extra creative touches like fangs and a mustache. Our Buddy Class has been amazing, the Pre-K have started calling them “Our Big Kid Best Buddies”, so we decided to make them beautiful Thank You art they can hang in their classroom.
