Mrs. Voytko's Class Adventures

We had a great first day back! We are starting our new unit about creativity so we talked about what we think that means to us! The class also told me what they want to more and less of in the New Year!

Our week flew by and was filled with so many things! I am sorry the blog post is all in one this week! We started by sharing their shoebox homes, finished presents and created some amazing things for our pretend center!

Friends have gotten started on their shoe box homes and they are turning out so well!! they will have a few more opportunities to add to them and then will share them next week. We had a mystery reader today and the class loved hearing the Grinch!

Today we started by making our plans for their shoe box homes! Tomorrow we will get started on creating them AND the class gets to start making their super secret gifts for parents (:

Books are being sent home along with their journals! Please send them both back Monday. We started the morning by painting some things for pretend and getting it all ready to play in! We ended the day playing a math game finding the missing snowball!

We started the morning making gingerbread play dough! Then got to play outside longer than usual in the warmer weather! The painting has started on the gingerbread house and the class is so excited! We finished our day playing a fun math game looking at what numbers are bigger and smaller.

The class finally got to have so much fun in the snow today! We started decorating the room and the gingerbread house will be delivered tomorrow!!

We had a great week with thus fun loving class! We worked on a art price together and they did so well Working together. We also created a video for thanksgiving that will be sent out in a couple days so be on the look out! Enjoy your Thanksgiving and time with family!

Yesterday we ended our week creating their own parade float for the Thanksgiving parade that our class will be recording and sending home! Second grade also stopped by and asked the class some questions for their genius hour project.
