This morning we started our day by making collages. Each child cut and glued their pictures themselves. We talked about scissor safety and work on how to correctly hold our scissors. Today on the playground we found 5 Monarch Caterpillars in our baby Milkweed plants and lots and lots of Aphids!

Today was full of excitement! This week we joined our buddy class on the playground. They played ball with us, read stories, made sidewalk art, and played make believe. Today we had our first fire drill! During morning meeting we talked about fire safety, and the importance of practicing our plan. They had lots of good "what if" questions and stayed attentive. Today's favorite activity was making play-dough. The children did all the measuring, scooping, and mixing. This activity focused on our small muscle development, patience, and math skills by measuring and counting how many scoops of flour, water, salt, oil, and food coloring went into our play-dough.
